We are Leona Troyer and family, and every puppy listed above was born and raised in Topeka, Indiana — with daily handling building out back. We keep to one or two litters at a time on purpose. It is the only way we know to give each puppy the handling and attention that turns a well-bred puppy into a settled family dog.
We raise six breeds: Cavapoo, Golden Retriever, Havapoo, Maltipoo, Shih Tzu and Toy Poodle. If you are still deciding, the breed pages walk through size, coat, temperament and the kind of home each one suits, and we would rather you took your time than picked in a hurry.
Whatever is ready today is shown above, with photos, age and sex. That list changes week to week as puppies find their families. If nothing above is the right match, joining the waitlist is not a formality. It is how most of our families find their puppy.
There are two ways to wait. The free waitlist means we let you know when a litter is planned or a puppy becomes available. The priority waitlist takes a $600 deposit, which reserves a puppy for you rather than simply being told when one is available. The deposit is fully refundable for 48 hours, it can be transferred to a different puppy or an upcoming litter, and it is applied toward your puppy.
Both parents are health-checked and DNA tested before we ever plan a pairing. Litters grow up in the living room, underfoot, with early neurological stimulation and daily handling. Before go-home day, puppies have started crate training, leash work and potty basics, and have met the ordinary noise of a family house — the vacuum, the door, the children. None of that makes a perfect puppy. It makes a puppy who has already learned that new things are survivable.
Puppies go home when ready, once they are vet-cleared. We do not send them earlier.
Coming from out of the area? We are in Topeka, in northeast Indiana. If you are outside comfortable driving distance, reach out and we can talk through delivery or a mid-way meetup, along with what that would cost for your location. Visits are welcome by appointment — you are meeting the parents and seeing the home the litter was raised in, which tells you more than anything we could write here.

Because most puppies are spoken for in advance, the families who get the match they wanted are usually the ones who reached out months before they were ready. There is no cost to being on the free list.
